Pallet cover film in various variants
Supra-Ratiopac offers you a total of four different types of pallet cover film. These differ in terms of their dimensions or film thickness. For example, we offer a flat film with a film thickness of only 25 µ. All other variants have 30 µ. Two of our available cover films are transparent - and there is also a black version that reliably does its job wherever the goods in question are to be packaged to protect them from the eyes of third parties. Our range in this area is rounded off by a special LDPE cover film. LDPE stands for low density polyethylene and describes particularly soft polyethylene. Its lower density is due to the highly branched polymer chains that are formed during the production of the plastic. The material has a higher light transmission up to transparency as a result, but on the other hand, it has a high resistance to cold impact and stretching as well as a good sliding friction behaviour.

High-quality cover film from Supra-Ratiopac
With the cover film from Supra-Ratiopac Verpackungen GmbH, you create ideal protection for pallets or alternative shipping units. It not only protects against dirt and moisture when the covered pallet is exposed to the weather, but also against theft. The pallet cover film is simply placed on top before stretching or strapping and, thanks to a special tear-off perforation, also scores with its particularly user-friendly handling. The films protrude sufficiently so that they are wrapped laterally by the stretch film. In addition, our pallet cover film is particularly tear-resistant and is ideally suited for the dimensions of standard Euro pallets.
Cover film: Weather protection from all sides
It may be necessary or at least advisable to additionally protect the goods stacked on the pallet against moisture or possibly frost from below. Our cover films are also ideally suited for this purpose. Simply place them directly on the pallet and then put the packages on top. Protected in this way, pallet consignments can also be stored outdoors - for example, if the goods are not needed promptly or if there is a short-term shortage in the warehouse. Pallet cover film as practical protection against wind and weather
All over the world, countless containers and pallets are used in the field of logistics, on which the most varied goods are transported from A to B. In shipping, it is common to stack several cartons on one pallet so that not every one of them has to be transported individually. The cartons are wrapped in stretch film so that they form a unit and do not fall off the pallet. However, there is one decisive weakness: this film is also difficult to attach to the top of the packaged goods, which causes damage to the goods in the form of rain, snow or hail.
